Love is...

I've always held onto special images for a while after taking them to keep them all to myself until I feel ready to share. With this image I just can't wait any longer!! This is one of the best wildlife moments I've ever had and I couldn't be more pleased with the results of this encounter.

I watched as this Black Bear Sow walked into the woods with her two cubs and disappeared from sight. An hour later she hadn't come back out and I went to the edge of the trees to chec...k on her and saw her resting under a large tree with her cubs playing behind her. At that moment she got up and slowly walked towards me to a fallen tree and sat down hanging her legs over it. I couldn't believe my luck! So imagine how I felt when a short time later one of her cubs decided to join her and copy her every move!!!

Maybe My Rack Isn't Big Enough?

I've been waiting for this shot for a very long time!! While we had friends visiting from Utah for two weeks we spent most of our time in the park and had some amazing wildlife opportunities. This Bull Moose was cooling off after having no luck with his lady friend ;-)

Fall Fox

A last minute decision to spend the weekend in the park was a good one :-D Sorry I've been MIA....busy with a bunch of work-related deadlines/projects after a busy two weeks away with my Utah friends.

Seeing Red

My best friend and her husband left last night after a two week visit :-( It couldn't have been a better trip and today I'm missing them like crazy. I think they were good luck. We had incredible wildlife opportunities in my favorite places with fox, bears and moose and I look forward to sharing more of those photos soon...I need to get editing!
